Insert Protrusion Mounting vs Flush Mounting

The insert blade has an R value (R150).
It cuts more smoothly than a general insert blade without an R value.

UKR150 DW735 Spiral Helical Head Cutter Replacement Tip =
Turn off the power completely before installing it, and wear safety gloves to work. The 'insert blade' is quite sharp and can cause damage to your hands. (*The 'head cutter' is sometimes called the 'head' for convenience.)
Before installation, completely remove foreign substances from the equipment with an air gun or brush. In particular, clean the area where the 'head cutter' is installed (ex: the bearing and head in) more thoroughly.
To release "Insert Day"...Use the enclosed 'T wrench' to turn counterclockwise and release the insert blade fixing 'screw'.
▶ Time required: Approximately +-2–3 hours (estimated) The time may vary depending on the operator.
▶The D-World DW735 13-inch plane has a bearing hole size of approximately +-47 mm, and a flat head has a diameter of approximately 49.2 mm.Among Shelix's "head cutter" products, the smaller diameter products are 46.8mm in diameter. We do not sell small-diameter 'head' because it can cause errors when adjusting the 'feed roller' and cutting depth.Even if installation takes longer, we sell products such as straight head diameter size.
▶ When installing this product with a diameter of 49.2mm without loosening the "insert blade"...The 'hole' in which the head is inserted is 47mm, so it may not fit and be difficult to install.
▶ If you loosen the "insert blade" fixing screw...If the screw is locked tight and does not loosen well, first hit the fixed screw with a wrench 4-5 times (be careful not to hit the insert blade), then loosen the tight screw as much as possible...Please loosen the screw. If you overdo it because "screw" doesn't work...The head of the screw may be crushed.Crushed screws are also loosened using a tool called a bolt remover, also called a reverse tap (=back tap).As it may not be easy, be careful not to crush the screw when you first loosen it.
Remove the blade head...Remove any debris and foreign substances remaining on the equipment with an air gun or brush, and then install the helical head.
You can rotate the four sides of the insert blade. If one side is damaged and turns the blade...After removing and fitting the insert blade cleanly, rotate the insert blade at 90 degrees and install it so that it can be seated in the correct position, referring to the mark (ex: number) written on the insert blade.
Next time you need to replace or rotate the other "insert blade"...To ensure the 'screw' is loosened, apply anti-rust lubricant or the like to the screw holes and tighten the screw. When tightening the screws, it is recommended to tighten as much as possible so that the 'insert blade' does not shake or loosen during use.
After you tighten the screw...Please reconfirm that the insert blade is correctly positioned and correctly installed.
Check the insert blade again before using it, and check the insert blade and the fixing "screw" from time to time to make sure it is not loose.Loose screws can cause insert blades, equipment damage or accidents.
Other Installation Reference Tips:
Q: 'Head cutter lock plate'/ 'bracket' doesn't fit...?
A: DW735 has parts called 'headcutter lock plates' or 'bracket'.When replacing with a 'spiral helical head cutter', this 'lock plate' or 'bracket' that was required for the 'straight head cutter' may be removed as it is no longer necessary. The Serix product also has a circular shape rather than a hexagonal shape on the axis of the "head cutter", and the "bracket" is also removed when installing the Serix product. Please refer to the Serix product installation video on the Serix website or refer to other installation-related videos directly.
Q: Can't you loosen the screws on "Insert Day"?
A: If the "insert day" fixed "screw" is not working well, use a copied T-wrench, tap the "screw" 4-5 times to make the "screw" as free as possible before releasing it.You have to tap the screw only.Be careful not to knock on "Insert Day".When re-tightening the screws, apply lubricant to the life of the screw and tighten it to make it easier to loosen the screws when replacing the insert blade later.
